Sky News host Rowan Dean says the Albanese government is “incapable of moral leadership” and are “ignorant” of mainstream Australia’s values as they are “devolving” the role to Opposition leader Peter Dutton instead.
In response to Foreign Minister Penny Wong’s comments from a week ago about the Israel-Hamas conflict, Mr Dean says the “only moral leadership” Australia has received is from Peter Dutton.
“Peter Dutton also called for a National Cabinet to deal with anti-Semitism in this country … (which) was ignored by Labor and the Greens,” Mr Dean said.
“Labor simply refuses to acknowledge or treat anti-Semitism with the seriousness it deserves, equating it instead with the concept of ‘Islamophobia’.
“I simply say to Australians, the Albanese government has shown itself to be reckless on anti-Semitism, ignorant of the values of mainstream Australia and incapable of moral leadership, devolving that role instead to Peter Dutton.”
