Learn the Instant Vortex Preset Programmes with Jenny Tschiesche in her third video in our Air frying 101 series.
In addition to Air Frying (which we all know and love, and can be used for most things), the Instant Vortex has an extra 6 presets - to give you a cooking temperature and that is suitable for different foods.
Roast – similar to air frying, but preset to 205°C – this is the ideal function for roasting joints and vegetables efficiently in your air fryer.
Bake – this clever function has no ‘Turn food prompts’ (because generally you don’t need to turn baked goods.) and is preset to 176°C. The perfect temperature for baking pastry and cakes.
Grill - this function provides a top down heat and perfect for melting cheese, or cooking meats like burgers, chicken, steaks, chops and even vegetables.
Dehydrate – this function goes down to 54°C and is preset for 8 hours. It is the optimum temperature to make homemade dried fruits, or even beef jerky.
Reheat - this function is preset to 138°C which is the ideal steady temperature to warm up food safely. But, be sure to use a food thermometer when you think your food is warmed through sufficiently to check the internal temperature stays at 170°C for 2 minutes.
