My final project for my Animation History class this trimester was to create a short, minute-and-a-half-long animation dedicated to one of the historical animation figures in class. Being the Disney nerd I am, I couldn't help myself but recreate some moments from Walt Disney's first Mickey Mouse cartoon, Steamboat Wille. I decided to animate it using Minecraft characters and sets because it gave me both the challenge and freedom to work within the limitations and style of the blocky game! I hope you enjoy!
