Jujitsu & Judo coaches battle it out, under BJJ rules, using judo technique (called Ezequiel in BJJ, copied off another judoka who also fought BJJ and beat other black belts, so they call the technique after him)
knockout fight
Study Judo or Brazilian Jujitsu (BJJ) to learn about this.
Sode guruma jime is widely known as an Ezequiel choke (Portuguese: estrangulamento Ezequiel) in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The chokehold was renamed in memory of Ezequiel Rodrigues Dutra Paraguassu, a Brazilian judoka. Paraguassu reportedly had difficulty in passing the guards of jiu-jitsu practitioners at Carlson Gracie's academy and instead, he had managed to use sode guruma jime successfully inside their guards. He won so many times just like in this video, they named the move after him....
Also check out Koji Komuro Sensei (on Judo life YouTube channel) if you like this move
Just like the judoka who specialised in this attack for over 10 years at judo, and gained high level subtlety & competency at the low level move. Many think the Brazillian Black belt in the video as incompetent. I assure you he is very good and won against the same competitor the following year (points victory) Just the judo guy specialising in this move is a throwback to the master Ezequiel himself.
