Before building the mini robot kit (MRK-1), you should make sure that 1) the circuit board receives power and that 2) your computer can upload sketches onto the MRK-1 board. This videos shows you how to connect and test your robot's circuit board and more importantly how to troubleshoot common connection problems that may result in Arduino being unable to upload sketches (code) onto the robot. It does not discuss installing Arduino IDE, Arduino drivers, or the Arduino Web Editor plugins.
For Arduino sketches (code) to perform more comprehensive board tests (infrared line sensors, pushbutton, ultrasonic sensor, and so on) visit github.com/SumoRobotLeague/MRK-1_Misc
