Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku has been honoured with a state memorial service in New South Wales after his death in October, aged 101.
Mr Jaku spent time in four concentration camps - including Auschwitz - during World War II before moving to Australia in 1950.
He helped establish the Sydney Jewish Museum, working as a guide for nearly three decades, and also became an author, writing 'The Happiest Man on Earth'.
Mr Jaku was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2013 for his service to the Jewish community.
