This is the most popular trail system in Georgia, and for good reason.
The trails, Sorba Woodstock, the community, and passion for the outdoors is the foundation of what makes blankets Creek one of the best places to ride MTB trails in the southeastern umitrfv
There is no shortage of excellent riders and people who love to ride and enjoy the outdoors.
Enter Eric. A first time rider on Dwelling Loop, I introduce myself to him at the trailhead. After describing the direction of the day, clockwise, I let him start ahead.
I start the ride and catch up a bit later, Eric is riding extremely well for his first time in Dwelling Loop.
He follows me and I point out different areas of tech or optional routes.
This is also a low light early evening ride.
Concerned with the trails becoming dark quickly, Eric decides on the half loop.
We pass the entrance for the clockwise direction and I stop to determine where he needs to be to get out safety as he does not have a light.
Enter Rob. Another stranger on the trails, Rob is flying down Dwelling Loop like a true biking boss.
I ask him for direction for Eric, and decide he's better off riding the remainder of the second half of the trail with Rob and myself who know the trail and have lights.
A true epic journey and entertaining MTB ride, this was a truly memorable bike ride for the books!
Eric did so well especially on his first time on Dwelling Loop and without a light.
Both Eric and Rob were the PERFECT STRANGERS to meet, ride with, and socialize with afterwards.
