Hit children’s TV show Bluey could be set to end – as the voice behind the title role is growing up and maturing.
The Daily Mail reports "sources close to the show's Brisbane production hub claim the series may be 'wrapped up' in the coming months".
However, according to Bluey‘s distributor, Ludo Studio, the rumours are inaccurate.
Agenda C Managing Director Parnell Palme McGuinness says the reason for this is "all about appropriation" and "whether actors can fill roles that they don’t identify with or embody”.
“The problem with children is, they grow up,” she told Sky News host Joe Hildebrand.
