Results may vary with this technique, but it's one that I find very helpful. I felt admittedly slightly awkward making this video but people rarely mention it's importance when discussing 1920's fashion, so I thought I should share this "secret" with all of you. That makes it sound so much more dramatic than it is, haha.

This is a great resource for any larger or plus sized flappers out there! While aimed at larger sizes, it is a fascinating and helpful book for anyone interested in 1920's clothing and fashion, with a ton of information about how different dress styles affect visual proportions.
