We sometimes lose the forest through the trees, the big picture in a cloud of small, and ultimately insignificant details. Two unusual verses in this week's Torah reading, Beha'alotcha, teach us to take a moment and see what is really important in our lives, and in our personal journeys.
Beha'alotcha (Numbers 8:1 - 12:16)
Parashat Beha'alotcha is read on Shabbat:
Sivan 12, 5782/June 11, 2022
(In the diaspora, where an 8th day of Passover is observed, congregations will be reading a special Passover reading from Torah on Shabbat, and for the next few weeks there will be a discrepancy between the Shabbat Torah reading in Israel and the Shabbat Torah reading in the diaspora.)
