Reggae guitar lesson on best notes, position and pattern for playing lead reggae guitar.
The backing beat which I composed is in the key of G major. The notes of the major pentotanic scale was used in two different position.
I sometimes go out of the pattern and use other notes to keep it interesting. When playing reggae guitar you can use any guitar scale really.
Play up and down in the scale until you find a pattern that works for you.
Try to play other different rhythms to develop comfort. I kept it simple here and used just three chords.
I use the RP360 from digitech for the wah and reverb. The delay was from Logic Pro X tape delay i think on the ultra dub setting.
I did not rehearse before I recorded this and my guitar strings need changing so please forgive me for that.
