Back in 2017, I had £2,500 burning a hole in my pocket to spend on an iconic hot hatch. Here's why I went for a Ford Fiesta ST (Mk6) over a Renaultsport Clio 182.

Most people would go for the Clio, because it’s more powerful and lighter than the Fiesta. It also had an incredible chassis, making it a bit of a b-road weapon. The ST, meanwhile, doesn’t really have much on the Clio, so why did I buy one instead of the faster, lighter and better-handling Renault?
