You can make a jighead out of just about anything and having a bit of a peanut M&M problem I thought I might sacrifice a little fella for my other hobby, fishing and make a football jighead. I am still not convinced that football jighead has much over a standard ball jighead but I have been wrong in past and will be in the future.

Football shaped peanut M&M, colour of your choice
modelling clay to hold it while drilling and also to make a pour spout
1-2mm HSS drill bit and cordless drill
90deg jig hook of your choice I went with a 4/0
8mm s/steel welding wire for keeper
1 1/4" x 6 woodscrew countersunk with smooth shank
thick superglue and kicker
lead free pewter, I heated mine on a single electric ring in a metal kitchen measuring up
talcum powder
sharp knife for cutting open the mold and venting
