The public procurement law in Trinidad and Tobago remains unimplemented and unproclaimed and should be our first order of concern argues Afra Raymond. He discussed the issues of culture in Trinidad and Tobago and the challenges in public sector procurement and appeals for change to improve practices in the public sector. He gave a brief overview of the Act which was passed in 2015 and its movement up till October 29, 2020 when he delivered this presentation. It formed part of a 3-part series on Governance of the State Sector put on by the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute (CCGI).
