Step into the luxurious Chennai apartment of a well-known wedding planner and successful entrepreneur, who desired a calming and functional retreat from her busy life. As lovers of travel and life on her own terms, she tasked us with creating a holiday home that transported her to Spain. With complete creative freedom, we seamlessly blended form and function to deliver a stunning 2200 sqft apartment that embodies the Spanish spirit.

Our early involvement in the project allowed us to make strategic civil changes to the floor plan to create a space that perfectly met our client's functional requirements. We converted a bedroom into a home office and transformed a large balcony into a sunroom/entertainment room, which became a standout feature of the space. Architectural details like the use of arches and the opening up of the home office with a window overlooking the sunroom, with a cosy reading nook, add warmth and texture to the space.

To bring the Spanish theme to life, we played with colours and patterns throughout the space. We used different floor tiles, warm neutral hues like beige, taupe, warm grey, olive green, terracotta, and black, and layered colours and patterns through textiles like rugs and cushions. The cohesive material palette of wood, stone, metal, and glass ties the space together, creating a sense of harmony.

The result is a breathtaking space flooded with natural light, evoking a sense of calm and transporting the client to a holiday retreat in Spain. Our project is a testament to our ability to seamlessly blend function and form, creating a luxurious and personalized space that perfectly meets our client's unique requirements.
