Tiny Tim came to Tampa Florida in September of 1994 to record his album, Prisoner of Love (a tribute to Russ Columbo). While we had downtime, we would go to the parks and Tiny would tell stories, play his ukulele, sing songs and enjoy the sunshine. I asked him to discuss his first album, God Bless Tiny Tim (featuring Tiptoe thru the Tulips…which can be seen on this channel) and also his second album, Tiny Tim’s 2nd Album, both produced by Richard Perry. Concert In Fairyland was something Tiny jokingly recorded back in 1962, but resurfaced and was being used against him at the peak of his popularity. As Tiny discusses in this video, this was the beginning of the end of his career, at least as far as the major labels were concerned.
