Pinnacles National Park is, in my opinion, highly underrated. On this trip, we visited the park in mid-March and we basically had the whole park to ourselves. The beauty of each trail and the wildlife on those trails makes this place well worth the trip. Along with a hike up to Bear Gulch Reservoir, through the caves, we did a trail run to high peak as well. That trail is where we saw the most condors and best views.
We camped at Laguna Mountain Recreational park, on the East side of the park. Camping is free with a National Park Pass. The sites are in great shape with toilets, a fire ring and level ground.

*I’m not sponsored or endorsed by any of these products. I bought all the nutrition, packs and additional items with my money and use them because it works for me. If you do click any of the Amazon links, it will support my channel at no cost to you. However, I encourage you to shop around at your local running shops to find the best gear for your race and goals (ESPECIALLY SHOES, if you’re new to this). This does not have to be an expensive sport. There are many ways to get gear cheaper, make your own nutrition and shop the sales for shoes. For example, REI garage sales are great for discounted gear!
