In this video I discuss how I lose 30 pounds in 3 months. I bulked up from 140 pounds to 186 pounds and decided to cut back down. During my cut I lost 30 pounds in 3 months by cutting weight in the same way I used to do when I used to compete as a boxer. In this video I will detail everything I ate to lose the 30 pounds and the type of exercises I did during that time. This was not the extreme methods some fighters use to cut weight in a week's time, but rather a more methodical approach fighters use to get closer to their fight weight months before the actual fight date.
It's going to come down to what you eat, how much you eat, and how you workout. Here is exactly what I did:
I ate 1,500-1,600 calories a day.
Here were my typical daily meals:
1. Breakfast
-1 Cup of Oatmeal
-1 Cup of Oat milk
-1Tbs Of Maple Syrup
-Hemps Seeds
-Cinnamon
2. Lunch
-Breakfast or Burger Wrap
-BFree Wrap
-Beyond Sausage, Breakfast Sausage, or Burger Patty
-Just Egg or Burger Toppings
-Cheese and Mayo
3. Dinner
-Protein and Rice or Protein and Potato Combination
-Vegetables on the side
-No more than 500-600 calories
I would occasionally add a protein shake into the mix on days I needed some added protein.
For my workout I did EMOM but applied to my calisthenics routine.
Workout:
-20 sets of pushups daily
-10 sets of pull-ups every other day
-10 sets of squats every other day that I wasn't doing the pull-ups
-10 sets of leg raises
-Jump rope or heavy bag occasionally.
This has the added benefit of helping you put on muscle and burn calories.
Give this a shot for at least 30 days and see the kind of results you will get!
