After recording only one goal in Week 1, Rubeor had an offensive explosion the following week with a seven-goal performance against the Lizards. Now, seven is fewer than Westervelt's eight, but Rubeor scored seven of the 12 goals scored by the two teams combined. That's right, Rubeor was the goal scorer seven of the nine times the Bayhawks scored in a 9-3 victory over New York. For his performance, Rubeor eanred Warrior Offensive Player of the Week honors.
The rest of 2013: Rubeor had his best statistical year in 2013, scoring 30 goals and adding 11 assists. The Virginia grad scored in all but one game this past season and had a goal in each of the team's playoff games. Rubeor nearly doubled his goal and point totals from a year ago.
