Are you looking to make a start with cross country paragliding? Here is another flight which is fairly accessible and doesn't take too much planning, remember this is mountain flying, so care should be taken.
This cross-country paragliding flight starts in Bernese region of the Swiss alps from a mountain called Niesen which has a peak that is 2,362m. You can get here from the town of Interlaken easily via the excellent Swiss public transport system, and then take a funicular railway to the top which will save you 4-5 hours of hiking.
Take off from Niesen is approximately 2250m, you can then fly south west for 21km to the end of the ridge line where you can make a U turn and fly back to take off. If the day is good and thermals are still active when you return above launch on Niesen, you can extend this flight by another 16km flying to Interlaken and landing the middle of the mountain town. If you do extend the flight you would leave Niesen and fly towards Morgenberghorn avoiding some airspace which would be on your right and then follow that ridge line to town.
