In this video I show how I made a power feed for my home built bandsaw mill,
Here's a few links to some parts I used to make this.
PW controller, this controls the speed and direction of the motor [ Ссылка ]
Limit switches to stop travel [ Ссылка ]
Fuse holders [ Ссылка ]
This power feed cost me about $120 to build, It was a easy project to make and I'm real happy how it turned out.
I recommend anyone who has a manual saw mill to build a power feed for it, this has been a game changer for my mill!
It cuts more consistent and faster, plus it returns back to the home position on it's own and stops at it's limit switches, this saves time because you can be putting away lumber when it retunes home.
Thanks for watching :) I used a odd motor for this project, I would recommend looking up wheel chair motors on E bay, they are cheap to buy, high quality and even though there 24 volt, they will run on 12 volts.
