Guro Isagani Abon was born on October 18, 1978 in Malabon City, Philippines. Youngest of seven children, he is born to a family with a lineage of warriors with his father being a former professional boxer, his mother a Filipino wrestling practioner and his grandfather a veteran of WWII, all of whom were also FMA Practitioners.

He is a 1st generation student and Instructor of Rapido Realismo Kali International and PG Henry Espera. He is the 2nd highest ranking practitioner of RRK. He specializes in Edge Weapons Combatives and Tactical Hand to Hand. He played a large role in formalizing and designing the RRK Curriculum which includes sound and practical principles, techiniques, tactics, and drills infusing some of his own Tactical Training System on Edge Weapons (Taktikal Tagis Talim) and Hand To Hand (Taktikal Pamuok) which he collectively termed as Abon Taktikal Personal Combative Training System.

He strongly advocates the concept of a "martial mentality" in his teachings and believes in function rather than tradition and always seeks the combative value and street-application of FMA.

Sabakan: Suntokan (Hand and Arm Striking), Sipa (Kicking), Tapikan (Hand Tapping and Trapping), Ipit Pilipit (Locking includes joint, pinching, biting, grabbing, etc.), Balibagan (throws and Takedwns), Buno/Dumog (Simple Dirty Grappling)

We often get questions from people who are interested in becoming an instructor of RRK (as well as Abon Taktikal) they want to know what it takes. Any qualified and interested candidate for the Rapido Realismo Kali (and Abon Taktikal) Instructor Certification Program a serious Certification Program and Becoming a certified instructor can open countless doors and opportunities both personally and professionally.
The Instructor Development and Certification Program/course will provide you with a basic and yet intense FMA/self-defense program that will enable you to teach effective and proven solutions to violence, either as a supplement to your existing martial arts training and program or as a stand-alone program. At the end of the course you will either graduate with a certificate allowing you to teach public classes, or with certification that allows you to teach privately, or be asked to take some time to practice what you have learnt and return for re-assessment - this is all dependent on performance in the final assessment component of the program, which consists of both a written and physical part. This course does not teach you how to teach the entire Rapido Realismo Kali (Abon Taktikal) Syllabus but the foundational and Combatives part of the program.
All those wishing to become instructors able to teach the full Rapido Realismo Kali (and Abon Taktikal) as part of the system’s Full Instructor Program need to complete this course, regardless of martial arts, security and/or military experience. For those who attend the course and demonstrate competency, both athletically and physically and display the right character, discussions can be had about moving on through the system
