Looking to continue his rapid rise up the 154-pound ranks, Erickson Lubin stepped in against Daniel Sandoval in another opportunity to fight in front of an NBC audience.
Lubin took some time to feel out his veteran foe, but in the third round, the pace picked up faster than Sandoval could handle, with Lubin hurting his opponent against the ropes with just over :30 to go in the third round.
Lubin then went to work in a hurry to finish his opponent, forcing a stoppage seconds later after a barrage with both hands continued to land clean. In the end, Lubin improved his record to 15-0 with 11 KOs thanks to a third-round TKO - his fifth stoppage in his last six fights.
