In this video, we are going to tape a hockey stick blade using the same method as one of the most innovative players in the NHL, Trevor Zegras. All you will need is a hockey stick, some 1.5 inch white cloth tape, a pair of scissors, and some hockey stick wax to tape your blade just like Zegras.
For players like Trevor Zegras, where they attempt crazy hockey moves, such as the michigan during NHL games, having a good tape job on the stick is key. For this one, the addition of hockey wax to the blade is not required, but it is a good thing to put on the blade to help keep the grip on the blade and repel ice and water. Overall, for any adult league or youth hockey players, this tape job is great for preserving the hockey stick blade and providing extra grip on the puck.
