Fishing on the Great Ouse
A group of some of my oldest fishing buddies head to Godmanchester with the aim of fishing nearby grafham reservoir for Zander but Anglian Water have a competition on. Bad weather stopped us last time around, but we have all taken a fancy to the river on our doorstep and decide on a good old social and fishing in Godmanchester. After seeing a big perch chase my plummet when we visited in February, I have a personal score to settle and we are all keen to see if we can find a specimen fish. My friend Ross also throws down the challenge of a little match fishing - how can I refuse? Grafham can wait until another day.
