At the San Francisco Supercross in 2003, Amsoil Honda's Travis Preston had a 2nd incident with a Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider (Eric Sorby at Anaheim 2) in 2 weeks, getting together with Matt Walker at San Francisco. Walker went for a block pass on Travis Preston to try to block him from doing the Finish line jump. However, Walker got sideways and tried to avoid the contact, but there was nothing Walker could do and he went right into Preston. Preston was really steamed after the incident with Eric Sorby at Anaheim 2 (which resulted in a 6th place finish that night), and he was even more angry after that incident with Walker at San Francisco. Preston finished with an 11th place on the night, while Matt Walker finished in 2nd... but a week later, Walker was fined $1000 by the AMA for the incidental contact with Travis... who dropped a full race (25 pts.) down to series leader, James Stewart. ESPN2's Cameron Steele caught up with a very upset Travis Preston to find out his perspective on that incident with Walker. Take a look.
