To begin, open your browser and launch Google Colab. If you're new to running Stable Diffusion with Google Colab, please refer to our previous tutorial video linked in the description for a detailed guide.
Let's start by creating an initial image of a lady. Input a prompt in the designated section to guide the generation process. Once the image is generated, we'll proceed to the Image to Image feature in AUTOMATIC1111 to expand and complete our portrait.
Within the script, select "Poor man's outpainting" as the technique. Maximize the pixel expansion limit and choose "down" as the Fill option. Click "Generate" to begin the expansion process. Note that achieving optimal results may require multiple regenerations.
Once you're satisfied with the expansion from the downside, drag the image to the left side, ensuring it automatically updates its size. Click "Generate" again to continue expanding and completing the portrait. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired expansion on the left side.
Now, drag the image to the left once more and change the Fill option to "right" to expand the right side of the portrait. Click "Generate" to finalize the expansion.
Next, send the image to the Inpaint section to refine and enhance the results. Pay attention to correcting any remaining outlines from the expansion process. Configure the settings below as needed and turn off the expansion script.
Since we no longer require additional expansion, click "Generate" to refine the image. Great! The image now looks acceptable, but feel free to perform more detailed work to achieve even better results.
