It’s very easy to boil potatoes. In this beginner cooking video I will show you how to boil potatoes like a professional chef.
It is important so start cooking the potatoes in cold water. After the water boils for one minute turn the heat down to medium low and allow the potatoes to simmer until easily pierced with a skewer or knife. If the potatoes are easily pierced, then remove them from the boiling water.

2.5 pounds potatoes
2 quarts cold water
2 teaspoons salt.
