A beautiful, glassy day at Honolua Bay with a 4-5ft swell forecast!
This week the swell along West Maui's southern coast died off, leaving all of our favorite local breaks surf-less. We decided it would be a great time to venture north to Honolua Bay where the swell is forecasted to be 4-5ft.
We arrive at 9:00AM, peak low tide rising throughout the morning. The day began slow but as the tide rose so did the waves! Clear as glass!!
I'm shooting footage of my surf buddies, Jeff and Kelly, with a canon DSLR and DJI Mavic Air 2 for aerial footage.
