For Richie Rude, the 2022 season began with redemption. After missing out on the 2021 title at EWS Tweed Valley, the Yeti / Fox Factory Team rider set about the Scottish stages in a bid to exorcise some ghosts. He did just that and took the win to get the ball rolling on what would be an action-packed season of racing.
Jesse Melamed and Rude would go bar-to-bar across the series with the big American bidding to join the elusive triple champions club alongside Cecile Ravanel and Sam Hill. But winning the Enduro World Series has never been straightforward and Richie would go on to have one of the most dramatic seasons of his career.
