The Block Island Times took a trip down Clayhead Trail on a sunny, breezy September 5th day with temperatures in the mid 70s. Turn up the volume while you watch to hear the natural ambience along the way. At the end of the video it should be noted the trail turns left and continues along the bluffs.
The Clayhead Trail is located three miles from town off of Corn Neck Road and identifiable by a gray stone marker. The 190-acre parcel on the northeast corner of Block Island provides a captivating island perspective. It’s also one of the places where Eben Horton’s glass floats, or orbs as some people call them, have been discovered. Go to: www.glassfloatproject.com for more information.
