Most dismiss bird dogs as simple boring exercises that have no place in the training program of strength athlete - when in reality they can be a great addition.
Bird dogs (when done correctly) teach your body how to properly stabilize the spine & create movement about the extremities. This is the same movement concept we want to see when doing most lifts - especially the deadlift.
