The first individual TT of the race is 54.8km long, and Bradly Wiggins will be looking to take time from his rivals on what could be a crucial stage.
Wiggins is the Olympic gold medal holder in the Time Trial, and can sustain a wattage of 440 - 450 watts, something that an amatuer cyclist can only manage for a couple of minutes!
Daniel Lloyd went to Italy on a fantastic Colnago C59 Disc and looked at the stage in detail to see what we expect to happen.
