The fifth day of competition at the 2021 World Cup Gran Canaria Frontón King kicked off with perfect waves at Gáldar, Gran Canaria.
After several lay days, the wait was worth it, and "The Beast" showed its best face, thanks to ideal swell and wind conditions.

Two-time world champion Amaury Lavernhe had fierce opponents but managed to advance through to the next round.
The best two-wave total score of the day was awarded to Julián González, from Colombia, who netted 15.67 for his performance at El Frontón.
Hawaiian drop-knee maestro Dave Hubbard rose to the expectations, as well as current Frontón King, the Gran Canarian Lionel Medina.
