Kawasaki Frontale were finally crowned 2020 J1 League champions after thrashing second-placed Gamba Osaka 5-0 to clinch their third top-flight J.LEAGUE title. Brazilian forward Leandro Damião, winger Manabu Saito and attacking midfielder Akihiro Ienaga, who scored his first hat-trick of his professional career, all got on the scoresheet, before lifting the championship trophy in-front of their home fans.
