Ole Gunnar Solskjaer loves Sir Alex Ferguson. That much has been pretty obvious from the moment the Norwegian became Manchester United's interim boss in December. Barely five minutes has gone by without Solskjaer reeling off a famous old Fergie saying or recounting something that the legendary Scot did which is informing and educating him in the ways of top level management. And some Manchester United fans think that the Norwegian has dusted off an old Fergie classic in the build-up to next weekend's Premier League clash between United and Liverpool at Old Trafford. Now regardless of United's battle to finish in the top four we all know that next Sunday's game is a bigger one for Liverpool. The Reds are aiming for a first league title in 1990, and win at Old Trafford would be a huge step towards it. So Jurgen Klopp would doubtless have been delighted to hear that both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard were going to miss the game against his side through injury. Except, as exclusively revealed by Mirror Sport's David McDonnell, that might now not be the case . Martial and Lingard could return from injury for the game against the Reds, and that has got United fans claiming that Solskjaer has pulled out the old Fergie mind games trick on Klopp by exaggerating the severity of the injuries only to go back on that later. This lot are convinced anyway. Are they right? Or is this all just a coincidence? Or did Solskjaer know that I was going to type that? And that? And that? This is spooky.
