In this video I test and review Hornady Dangerous Game Series 286gr SP-RP 9.3x62mm Mauser hunting ammo, shooting into 10% ballistic gel from Clear Ballistics.

Though ballistic gel won't exactly predict how a bullet will perform in an animal, it's great for testing and comparing different cartridges and loads against each other in a consistent and repeatable manner.

Here's the specific load and rifle I used in this 9.3x62 gel test:
Ruger M77 Hawkeye (22" barrel)
9.3x62mm Hornady 286gr InterLock
