In this episode, I dive deep into surf forecasting with Rob Mitstifer, Lead Forecaster @Surfline. He’s originally from Long Beach Island, New Jersey and at his early age he already knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. Rob obtained a BS in Meteorology from Penn State University. He was hired by Surfline in 2017 and then relocated to Surfline’s Nags Head office in North Carolina.

Surfline is a company and website based in Huntington Beach, California that specializes in surf forecasting and surf reports, live webcasting, photography, videography, as well as editorial coverage of the sport of surfing.
