This trail off Baozhushan in Kunming has one of the strangest names I've ever heard and translates as the big forest of reporters - awful I know. But that's the truth. Nevertheless it was a good descent.
I think the trails off Baozhushan are better than the ones on the Western Mountain. What do you guys think?
I love the way on this trail you get shuttled to the top and you end up in a village at the bottom which is part of a massive city bigger than London!
Yunnan Province is a fantastic place and has some great mountain bike opportunities.
Kunming, the capital of the province, is the mecca of mountain biking in China. Forget all the talk of there being DH parks in Hebei near ShijiaZhuang, Kunming has two local mountains where you can get a little van from bottom of the hill to shuttle you up to the top and descend pretty decent trails. There are few other places like this in the world. It is awesome. I guess you need to know some locals but that's easy enough.
