Sean Payton took a lot of heat for the game he called against the New England Patriots in the Denver Broncos' loss on Christmas Eve.
Payton was criticized for a bland game plan and not putting his offense in a position to succeed. Super Bowl 50 Champion Todd Davis looks at the film and sees a different story. Payton actually put the Broncos' offense in a position to succeed, but breakdowns by Russell Wilson, Javonte Williams and Denver's offensive line held the offense back.
That was also the case on the defensive side of the ball, where Vance Joseph put his players in a position to succeed, but lack of on-field communication failed them.
Todd Davis breaks it all down on the DNVR Broncos Podcast Inside Scoop.
