TNS - Formerly Total Network Solutions, yes a football team with a sponsored name, now known as The New Saints are a joint Welsh & English Football Club who play in the Welsh Premier League 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 BUT their "Park Hall Stadium" is in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 TNS have such an unusual history. The club in its current incarnation is a result of a merger between Llansantffraid FC (Wales) and Oswestry Town (England) in 2003. With that said, Llsantffraid FC had already become Total Network Solutions FC before the merger, but after BT acquired the electrical company, the football club had to look for a new name... 🤔 At one point they even looked into selling the naming rights of the club on EBAY 😬 So much to unpack in this video...
