Hamar, NORWAY - 1994 Winter Games, Ice Dancing, Free Dance - After a few years of open artistic expression, and thanks to skating moves first used by the Duchesnays of France, the ISU moved to make some rule changes, most notably, dying on the ice as the ending pose of a skater's program is no longer allowed. However, after awhile, skaters had learned to make compromises since the rule requires that at least one blade must be touching the ice during the end pose. Includes interviews with Christopher Dean and Brian Boitano.
