Does it matter that no one is going to watch this video? Of course not. The point of this channel isn't to acquire gaudy video view counts. The point is to showcase the mundane happenings of the NBA, and I don't know if you can get any more mundane than this. Rodney Hood is the roliest of role-players, and 20 is the most average point total its possible to achieve. Rodney Hood scoring 20 points in only a vaguely exciting way (he had a bunch in the first quarter) and not even doing anything else. Man, this is great.
I'll let you in on a little secret: I pretended to be excited for Ja Morant dropping 30 and 9 tonight, but in my heart, I thought it was TOO exciting. Way too exciting. Way too intense. This kind of thing, this is what I really want. Just a ho-hum 20 points by a ho-hum NBA player. The kind of performance that literally no one will remember a week from now. Except for me. I always remember. I always WILL remember.
