Outer grass lines are prime areas to find bass during the summer peak. Water temps are maxed and baitfish shift deeper to stay in their preferred temperature ranges - bass are right there with them.
Wired2Fish's McKeon Roberts thinks of these areas as major feeding highways, but there are some hazards on the road. Transitions usually have some scattered organic debris that fowl bottom baits, but a drop shot keeps you precisely in the strike window and just above the cover.
