A dive i will never forget.
The Monkfish measuring 3ft in length and weighing approx 10kg was directly underneath me when i saw two large orange eyes. I backed off slowly leveling the speargun between its eyes. Caught at low tide at around a 5 meter depth- not what i was expecting to find! Also caught and cooked where dogfish and pollock. These fish are caught and killed as quickly as possible- any movements are likely to be involuntary muscle contractions.
