Here is a behind the scenes clip of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Team AKA along with Islam Makhachev doing some grappling drills. This was before quarantine, and Khabib was training for his fight against Tony Ferguson, which is currently not in the line up. SInce then Tony Ferguson has been defeated by Justin Gaethje who will now be facing Khabib for the title. Khabib usually leads wrestling practices when he is in town at AKA for camp. You will also see.Umar Nurmagomedov, Arjan Singh and many other fighters. This is what fighters call hand fighting for position, it is a good drill for balance when you are locked up with another fighter and much more. You can pretty much see the great training environment and energy the champ brings, and why all the fighters at American Kickboxing Academy love having him as a teammate.
