The closing moments of Longwood vs. Gardner-Webb had one of the strangest endings I have seen to a basketball game. Tied at 54, Longwood's DeShaun Wade fired up a half-court prayer, which was answered, giving the Lancers a 3 point lead. The only problem was he shot with 7 SECONDS LEFT! The team celebrated but then realized it was actually a mistake. Fortunately Longwood held the lead, and completed an 11-point second half comeback.
