The difference between a hip hinge and squat #kettlebell #swing is that in the first variation of the kettlebell swing the joints flexed can vary between just the hip joints or the hip and knee joints. The second variation covered in this video is the squat style swing and involves 3 joints, the hips, knees, and ankles.
There are plenty of trainers who will tell you that a kettlebell swing with a squat is wrong, but they are wrong if they can’t back it up with the reason why it’s wrong.
