Zwift Racing has progressed over the years and is now a lot more organized and regulated however there are still lots of people cheating or unknowingly breaking the rules during races and that’s why when you’re racing to have Zwift Power open in Live Mode will allow you to see who is cheating or is going to be disqualified. For most Zwift Races you must be registered on Zwift Power amongst other rules to allow your results to stand. Zwift Racing is split into categories and W/Kg output.
• A = 4.0 w/kg and above
• B = 3.2-3.9 w/kg
• C = 2.5-3.1 w/kg
• D = 2.4 w/kg and below
• E = Women Only
Currently, I am in Category C at 3.16 W/Kg and looking to progress to B Category ASAP. I was a B Cat Rider 2 years ago but life lead to a decline in training and power and weight gain where I ended up around 2.3Wkg so D Category.
