set up - see video Objective - coach to work on a number of patterns of play starting from the DCM. 1. Play into striker - to lay off to midfield support - play out wide (COACH MOVEMENT off the ball - vital for success) striker to arch run then attack near post, supporting wide player to attack back post and midfield to support from the egde. Can play be one/two touch + the cross to be infront of attackers. 2. Play from opposite side - midfield play 1-2 with striker then play out wide - style of cross may be different depending on build up. 3. play direct into striker whos plays out wide. 4. Play outwide - wide player drives inside creating space for the overlap - striker comes short and receives pass from wide player & then plays out wide (note - as striker has been pulled out of position far wide player and midfielder must attack box) coach to then give players freedom to go through patterns. key points - quality of pass, shot, cross + runs off the ball + be positive +be creative + communication
